Hi forum,

I bought a 2003 model 12 month ago with 110k miles. It has 130k now and I got a new clutch 3 or 4 months ago (still got warranty on the part).

A few days ago the car started to make a loud high pitched squeaky noise, literally over night. The sound appears when I as much as touch the clutch pedal, or press it down. It goes away once my foot is off the pedal.
It seems more pronounced for lower gears and at the beginning of the drive.

Apologies for the bad quality, but I hope you get the idea. The noise in reality appears a fair bit louder than it does in the video

That sounds like a bad throwout bearing. Usually this is replaced when the clutch is replaced, but maybe it wasn't, or was somehow installed improperly?
