due to some rather rough driving, i fried my clutch about two and a half weeks ago. I then had a valeo king cobra clutch installed. i was really pleased with the way the clutch grabbed. a week and a half later, the clutch went out again on the freeway. i took the car to a ford mechanic and upon removing the pressure plate, the clutch plate was found to be in about 6 pieces. more peculiar, the flywheel had no hotspots, no blemishes. it was perfect. the only hard driving that was done on the car was the race i had had about 10 minutes before the clutch went out. now my question is: is there an obvious defect in the clutch such as bad rivets? or could there be a possibility that i simply dont know how do drive stick?
