I have a problem with my clutch. its been like this since i bought the car last year. it is very, very hard to push the pedal down. the clutch i used to have in it was a king cobra, and i had put a stock one in after i removed that one about a month after i had the car. i recently put a new cable in it hoping it would make the clutch easier to push , but with no luck. the clutch engauges about an 1/8th off the floor. i barely lift my foot and im moving. what could be the problem? bent T/O bearring fork? quadrant? any help would be great.

heres alittle test you can do if you don't know about it.

1.jack car up from the rear. support the axles with jackstands.
2.release the parking brake.
3.start the car in neutral.
4.after started, push the clutch pedal fully and count for ten seconds. after ten seconds (while still holding the clutch pedal in), put the car into 1st.

if the wheels don't move, then theres not a problem. if the wheels move, then your clutch is not releasing all the way.

but as far as fixing it if the tires move, then im not sure. if they don't move, then its not gonna wear anything out. hope i helped in some way, and didn't waste your time.
