Trick flow stage 1 cam (.499/.510---221/225dur). Using ported E7's with stock valves and Felpro .039" gasket. Getting ready to have a valve job and was thicking about milling the heads as well. Anyone running anything similar in lift/duration with milled heads(how much?) with piston/valve clearance problems? Would it be safe to mill them a little .050"/.100" and still be ok? I can check the clearance before the valve job to see what I have but I was wondering if someone else could tell me how much milling they've gotten away with with similar setup.
Thanks

You should be able to get by with .030 off the heads and have enough clearance...

I agree with this. I wouldn't go any more, because you will have intake alignment issues. And I think if you milled .050/.100 off of a set of E7's, the deck would end up beng very thin.
