Cheap way needed to put Front Disc brakes on a 66 Mustang, 5 lug.

I have a 66 Mustang with 5 lug hubs. I want to put on disc brakes by using various parts from other cars INSTEAD of buying a $1000 plus kit.
Scarbird sold a bracket that would use GM Celebrity brake calipers with 69 Mustang rotors. Those brackets are out of stock...
What other options are there?
The car currently has a SSBC 4 piston caliper set up on it but needs calipers and rotors. If I'm buying new calipers and rotors, I'll by something else that I can afford.
What are you guys using on your old Mustangs?

Yes I have 17” wheels. If that bracket kit is in stock I’ll get it 🙂
Thanks

I don't think it is cheaping out on brakes. If the 12.5" brakes can stop a 2005-2010 Mustang GT, they can stop a lighter 66. Parts are readily available nation wide, not special propitiatory parts from an expensive kit. I'd rather source parts I can get at any auto parts store anywhere in the USA.
there's a metric ton of other work other than bolting on calipers, pads, and rotors.

piecing parts together in hopes that the braking system will function CORRECTLY is not something taken lightly. Pardon my tone but i care about the minivan with my wife and children in front of you when they come to a sudden stop and you plow into them because of your frankenstein brake system. Brakes aren't something to throw together.
