I need to remove the drivers side motor mount to replace a freeze plug. Can the motor mount be removed without having to remove the engine? Any suggestions on how to do this. Need help badly.

yeah just jack it up

Before jacking it up you probably want to remove the
fan to keep it from hitting. As it goes up you want to
watch for anything that starts to hit.

Support the engine with some wood once it's up - don't
just rely on the jack.

I have an electric fan so I should have any clearance issues there.
I have to replace the freeze plug that is directly behind the motor mount.
Will I need to unbolt the pass side mount as well. My guess would be yes.

I would think so, you may be able to get one side up high enough to get the freeze plug out,but good luck trying to tap the new one in. That's one job I would yank the motor for,if one went then plan on more going, you should replace all of them. good luck!
