I have a c 4 torque converter. It has a number stamped
"175009". Anybody know what brand it could be?

I've already figured out it's not an ATI , TCI or a B & M.

How would you figure it out? Did you try call manufacture and give them the number you described, maybe they can tell you.
There are too many torque converter manfacture out there, including so called small company such as Dayco etc etc.

I called Redline. Which is a local hi-perf. shop .
Supposedly they built the tranny but couldn't reckognize the converter number. I also tried Murray's who is a local hi-perf parts
distributor. They couldn't do anything with it either. I was just hoping to get some insight on what the stall is on it. I'm trying to avoid having to put in the car to find out. But it's beginning to look like that's the only way I'll find out.
