I just finished putting in new front end bushings and 87+ V8 brakes in my 85 GT and have a quick question if others have the same amount of vibrations I'm getting. I put in poly front lower control arm bushings, poly swaybar bushings, MM caster/camber plates, aluminum rack bushings and MM steering arm. I have a fairly stout cam in my 347 so it rocks pretty good at idle. Feels like something is hitting or something. I got underneath and I can't see anything hitting at all. Could all this be coming from the solid steering rack bushings and MM steering arm?

What kind of engine mounts? Are you sure the headers aren't hitting the steering shaft, or the frame rails? Oil pan too close to the rack?

Motor mounts are energy suspension poly mounts. Right side header was hitting abit, I used a prybar to push the firewall metal away. Helped but still have alot of noise/vibration. Oil pan is close to the rack but not hitting and steering arm has plenty of room.
