hey,
i hear GM syncromesh is the best to use for my tremec 3550. so how do i go about flushing the old stuff out and adding this stuff in? wheres a drain plug? where to pour it in? how much to put in? thx. its gettin tough to shift and 3rd gear is bein an ass. its the syncro, but im hopin this stuff is good. thx.

there are 2 plugs on the passenger side of the trans. the high one is the fill plug(PITA to use) and the low one is the drain plug, all you need to do is remove the drain plug and let all the old fluid drain and your done there. you can use the fill plug but its a PITA, what i do is fill it through the top, you gotta remove the whole shifter but its ALOT easier than that damn fill plug. BTW be sure to use 3qts of GM syncromesh

drain plug on passenger side, fill 3 quarts total through shifter hole after removed. thx for your help.

REDLINE MTL is what I have been told....cheaper and better than Synchromesh.
