I got a set of BBK 1 5/8" long tubes cheap:D I know that the lakwood bellhousing will need to be ground for clearance.
The only question is where does the bellhousing need to be ground at?
I am not concerned that it will ruin the SFI on the bellhousing. The track has never even looked under anyones car no mater what it runs. If any one has an image or description that would be great.

Thanks
Tim

That is kind of where I thought it would hit.
how much has to be taken off for it to clear
I plan on bending the collector if that will make it clear. i have done that on more than one set of hookers to get them so they are level. If I have to make a new H-pipe I can do that also. I am in the mood to use the sawsall and welder.

thanks

FYI,
I bought this steel bellhousing used, and it came "carved" like this...

I have MAC headers, so it doesnt affect me. Besides, I sold it and got another one anyways.

Just use one of these style grinders on the edge to ever so slightly clearance the bellhousing:

I don't think very much will need to be removed.
