Hello Everyone.

The patient here is a 56k mile, '91 GT. Mostly stock.

What it does is run hot, slight miss at idle, reduced performance and awful MPG (10-12)

When cold, it comes up to temperature rather quickly, like the timing was retarded. The dist is on TDC. Now, that being said, could it be the PIP or TFI module that is playing around with the timing? I have changed the plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, O2's, and TPS.

For cooling, it has a 4-core brass radiator, 180 thermo and a new stock clutch fan.

I've almost run out of ideas and I am currently in desperate mode! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Put in 10 degrees advance ignition timing. Be sure to remove the spout connector while setting the timing and replace after the dist is tightened down.
good luck,
