Question: Whats the proper (quickest) way to take off from the line when racing? Ive been told to start in low one, then low two, then to drive. On the other hand I was told to take the overdrive off and mash it!

Depends on how well you drive the car. I tried both ways and i found leaving it in drive works better for me (i suck) Anywho, on a stock trans with nothing done to improve shifts, the car lags when shifting gears yourself and can hurt you. Also with my car shutting off the over drive didnt do squat because it automatically turned back on :barf:

Just leave it in DRIVE and go. Just remember to turn off O/D and traction contol. You can shift manually if you like, but when your doing that with a blown car and you accidentally bounce off the rev limiter, stuff tends to break...hence my current rebuild. Good Luck.
