I have recently bought a PMS system, and was wonder what tuning techniques do you use to arrive at your optimum settings. I know that dyno tuning is the best, but for now without the aid of the dyno, how did you arrive at your settings. Anderson Ford faxed me a startup program for my combination, which I am using but I'm unsure where to go from there.

Thanks for any Help.

Those guys have an excellent website for the PMS tuning....

Although I use (and have used) several items from Anderson Ford (including the PMS), the "Start-Up Programs" he offers are very generic and leave a ton of power on the shelf...

Anytime Troy. I'll be there as more than a troll sooner or later. ;)
I truly believe that I can get more HP with a PMS, than I have with the chip....we'll see soon...:)

Get a Wideband O2 sensor and tune your heart out. The car should be around 14.6 on a cruise or idle. 11.0-12.0 WOT on a boosted car and 12.0-13.0 on a N/A car.

So you have a PMS on order for the car finally? Been waiting to find a NA 94/95 car with the PMS.

Harry, I agree...I have the EFI Systems wideband and tune with it. After buying it and the PMS, I wouldn't have it any other way.
