A friend of mine called me last week saying that he is helping someone install a procharger on a 99GT. They hooked everything up and the car fired, then quickly died. They checked the plugs and they were WET and BLACK. Checked the FP and it was reading 85psi:eek:

The way that I understand it is that the ATI kits for the 99+ cars come with 42#'s and no FMU (obviously, since they have no return fuel line) along with a chip to control everything.

How exactly does the computer control the FP on a returnless system? By controlling the voltage to the pump maybe?:confused:

I told him I was sorry but I wouldn't be much help as I am not very familiar with the newer mod cars.

Anyone want to take a stab at this one?
