yup, u need one from an 89 -up mustang BUT your mileage on
your car wont be correct anymore! i swapped to a 140 but the mileage reading on the 140 speedo was a near match for my real mileage. just be carefull!
if the car is over 10 years old they (DMV) dont even care anymore. Most people buying a 5.0 want to "fix it up" or they'd buy something else. As long as it hasnt been wrecked i woudlnt care about the mileage when all the rubber and bushings need to be replaced.
