Running into a problem on a tranny swap(one of many problems we have encountered) for an '01 GT.The clutch fork is too tight against the pressure plate(no freeplay) even w/hout the cable or even the tranny in yet.The bell housing is a brand new Tremec #1899 & we used a ballstud from a brand new 5.0 bellhousing that Tremec sent us wrong(just one of MANY screw ups we've encountered on this deal) the other screw up they made was the 4.6 bellhousing didn't have a ballstud even in the box. The only problem I can relate to it is the 5.0 ballstud is a different length for a 4.6.D7D says they are the same but Ford offers 1 part# for 1986-1995 then a different one from 1996-present, so who's right? I'm running a new 10.5"Spec stage 3 clutch & the clutch fork is out of a'00. I REALLY need some info on this soon, thanks Scott
