I need to redo the suspension on my 95 GT, and I see Mac sells a complete rear upper/lower rear control arm set, with bushings and bolts, for less than $250. This is going on a street oriented car, paired up with the Ford Racing M-5400-A Bullit spring/shock/swaybar setup. Are these control arms any good, as far as binding issues, ect. For the money, they seem like a good deal. Also, what is the advantage or switching to the 2003 Cobra front control arm?

Try a search on control arms and or addd Maximum Motorsports, Global West to the search. They are lots and lots of threads dealing with the issues and recommendations. I've read them and learned quite a bit. Basically you do not want rigid polyuerthane at both ends on the street (MAC, BBK, Hotchkis and others). It does not allow the suspension to move as designed and adds stress to the torque boxes. You want some type of flexable bushing at either end. MM, Steeda, Global West, FRPP and the MM knock offs all address this in different ways.
