Hey guys,

Is anyone using that Holley lower intake that bolts up to the factory stock upper intake? Does it really flow that much better than the stock lower? I know I can just get an aftermarket upper and lower together, but I am going for that sleeper look and wanted some ideas. Thanks for any input.

Once you open up the stock lower by porting it, the upper becomes the restriction in air flow and so using my lower or the Holley will result in the same power as both intakes are running with the upper as the power limiter. I have dynos to back up what I'm saying here. The Holley is a very nice piece, but it's runners are so big they cannot reach their full potential without significant mods to the upper.
