I'm looking for what heads, cam shaft specs and compression ratio were used on a Cobra R 351.

TIA

351W
GT-40 Heads
9-1 compression
365 ft/lbs torque at 3750 RPMs
300 hp at 4800 RPMs

still looking for cam specs, but I'd be willing to bet it's close to the Lightning specs: 200/[email protected], 416/445 w/ 1.6 lifters.......
(but it's just an educated guess)

great thanks

I'm building a mild 351 myself, but it should be a little better than a Cobra R motor.

Edelbrock Performer heads, not my first choice for a 351 but they are what I have.
10:1 compression
GT-40 intake with Fox Lake ported lower

I'm still unsure on the cam at this point. I have 1.7 rockers so I need to keep the lift down, but would like something in the mid to upper 220 degree range.

if I had to do it all over again, I would sell those Edelbrock heads and take the money straight to AFR 185's and never look back. But otherwise, sounds like a good combo...........

If it wasn't for the $$$ I'd go for some Victor Jrs, but the $$$ always seems to be the limiting factor. :(
