anyone have adjustable vacuum modualtor on a c4?

how does this work? it makes shifts harder and firmer? turn it in?or out?
I have it all the way in, and it seems to shift at 4400 no matter what in drive, pretty cheesy w/3800 flash, anyone know how I can get a 5800-6000 shift in D?and possibly adjustable up and down from there.

any help would be greatly appreciated

Been there, and hated it

I tried the adjustable Modulator on my C4 a few years back. It would not shift when I wanted it to and sometimes not at all. My solution was to go to the Full Reverse Manual Valvebody from Performance Automatic. It allows me to shift when I WANT to vice waiting on the vacuum to build. It's much more fun to drive as well. I am upgrading to the unit which has the transbrake. Hope this helps!;)
