Don, you don't happen to have a lead on a set of rear caliper backing plates for a 1992 Lincoln Mark VII do ya? A friend of mine is in need of one for his project.
...
Yes, my friend should, he and I have had several cars and he has a rear end rack with a 90 rear we parted out about 20 years ago. I had my old 91's rear left also after swapping my first 91 rear(bent), so there should be other parts too for it.

Younz (which my spell check wants to change to Yount) or - yenz (just one syllable) or you-ins is the equivalent of "all ya'll". Ya'll is singular. All ya'll is plural.

If you haven't read the book -- you should. "Hillbilly Elegy" by J.D. Vance.

Rear engine LS geo metro. Trans and front cradle from a Cadillac. Needs a bit of work on the “wide body” but that is glorious.

Ok. He needs the ones for the 10.5” rotors. Not the 11.375” rotors. If you have a pair let me know what you’d need for them.

I'll find out soon for you. The 90-92 Mark VII's use the same rear brakes, so there is just one size of them. I'd guess they are around 11", I don't recall the actual dimension. I've owned two 91's, a 90, and my latest 92 that I haven't done the brakes on yet.

Didn’t realize Holley bought DSE - “…..make ‘em an offer they can’t refuse…”
You could say something like that. It was not too long after Holley purchased Scott Drake.
That engine looks really clean inside not sure if I missed it in previous post how far are you planning to go. Full teardown or just top end?? Looks like a fun project.

allbizns - the block that came with the head is a 1588cc motor. The engine in mine is an 1810cc - so I’ll put this DOHC head on my block. Then sell my head/rocker shaft set up/pushrods lifters/cam to recoup some $. I’ll also sell the the 1588cc block.

Lol a member of my 3M group was asked to call a few folks and query us about a recent bad internal poll they just completed On what people thought of the company.

I kept it non political but told them everyone I interact with is very unpleased how 3M jumped on the executive bandwagon on “medical” requirements. I used to have the impression 3M cared about it’s people individually. I don’t think that any longer.

He asked if some examples of lunches and video calls for team building would be helpful and if I thought any would be something I’d like to participate in. I told him it was all window dressing at this point. It didn’t address my concerns with the company.

He was surprised by my honesty I could tell Based upon his momentary silences. 😆

I mentioned the stark contrast with how they lift up and support the decisions of their brave transgendered (I said alternative lifestyles) but when it comes to employees making Decisions on their medical treatment, it’s jab or job. Nothing else.

The airline pilots are about to hit their jab deadlines soon I heard. I hope they stand fast and force the hands of the socialism supporters(airlines etc), plus I hope they can be okay without the job.

Yes. I think it’ll come down to a few folks walking out of my plant as well. At this point I will refuse a “booster” jab. But I have quite some time to mull that and my options over. For now they are requiring the two shots by Dec8th.

Why are these companies pushing for Dec 8th for employees to be jabbed?? Trying to forced them to take it so they can have a Christmas with their families?

From R Barnes, Constitutional Lawyer

Religious Exemption Request Exemplar
What I would write:

"Taking this vaccine violates my conscience for at least three reasons: first, the use of aborted fetuses in either the development or production of these vaccines, or both, when my religious beliefs require that I respect all human life, including fetal life, and not knowingly profit from harm to fetal life; second, the invasion of my body with foreign toxins when my religious beliefs require I treat my body as a temple, and not so knowingly desecrate it; and third, the coercion against informed consent of this vaccine when my religious beliefs require all medical treatment be conditioned upon informed consent. This is a matter of life and death, the very purpose for which I live my life, respect for all human beings and all human life in the world, a core matter of right and wrong, and essential to my very being. I cannot violate my conscience on such a core matter of my morals and the beliefs that guide me and govern me, formed by religious beliefs and as instructed by my religious tenets. I have never knowingly taken any vaccine, or any medicine, developed or produced with aborted fetal cells, that invaded my body with foreign toxins, or that were compelled against informed consent. The violation of informed consent is a matter of religious conscience; what the Nazi doctors did is morally wrong, spiritually offensive, and participating or partaking in such invasive, coerced medicine at any time offends the very core of my conscience. I cannot consciously disrespect human life, and the core of what makes us human and the dignity it requires we treat ourselves and our fellow human beings, even if it might medically or financially profit me to do so. Some things are not for sale; my conscience, formed by the core of religious tenets, is one of them."

I thought I’d share.

I certainly support anyone’s right to refuse a vaccine - without the need for any reason other than they don’t want it. The reasons described above are, I’m sure, true for many people. I’d also be willing to bet a lot of money that many if not most of the people using reasons as set forth above have had many other vaccines throughout their lives without a hint of protest. It’s difficult for me to reconcile those 2 things with any sense of intellectual credibility.

The fact they've gone full fascist (historical definition as in WW2 - big gov in league with big companies) is very upsetting also. This wasn’t the case 4-5mo ago. If folks don’t make a stand I expect they’ll dictate many more things we must accept in our bodies in order to have a job, shop, etc. Australia has gone full medical fascist tyranny from what I’ve read. As someone came up with once- for evil to succeed good men only need do nothing.

The bigger the Government, the smaller the citizen. The only thing big government does well is….get bigger.
