does any one know the flow numbers for the stiock 289 heads? 65 HI PO if it matters. or Does any one have the numbers on stock 351 heads? I want to know how much flow i am losing going to the 289 heads. A graph would be great for either. Also i want to know which cam to get in the future for the 289 heads. Thanks a bunch, Adam

stock 125cc style castings typically max-out around 160-170 cfm(@28" h2o). the stock C9/D0 style castings usually max out in the 185 cfm range.

The thing thats neat about the 125cc style castings is that they can meet the windsor heads (including the gt-40 irons) with very minor deburring of the valve bowl and short turn radius, yet typically end-up with around 130cc's or less depending on what the original head runner volume was (122-127). this becomes a very nice flowing head at that point, capable of high 11's in a race set-up.

My do's are around 145cc......I need to do a final volume measurement on them one of these days
