I'm trying to get my car back together, and one thing I haven't figured out yet is how to mount my alternator. I had a March bracket on it that I used when I was running a mech pump. I've just installed an electric pump, and I'm trying to figure out the best route to go.

I'm currently running a serpentine belt. I've seen a couple low mount alternator brackets, but it seems like they say you have to change to a v-belt. I will probably remove the belt when racing, and install it for the little bit of street use the car may see. I'm running no other belt drive accessories.

I'd like to find the cheapest solution...Any suggestions?

i dealt with this years ago ended up converting to v belt, not one of my greater moments.

i have since went back to mech pump and serpentine.

I have a Summit alt bracket, don't know how it matches up to the the March bracket, but all I did was flip the alternator upside down and cut a couple tube spacers to make it all line up right. I'll try to get you a pic later....
