I’m wanting to put ac back in my 93 turbo mustang and have several questions regarding hoses since all of them will need to be custom.

the factory setup has the low side of the compressor running to the drier canister and then directly to the evaporator.

since I’ll be running a custom ac drier does the drier have to be on the low side and if so are there reducer fittings that adapt from -10 hose down to -6 since most after market drivers are 3/8 o-ring in and out

I’ve got most of the fittings and hose sizes figured out except for the drier and low side configuration coming off the compressor since the factory had that big foam -10 line going directly into the drier and then into the evaporator.

Yes, the drier needs to be on the low side. Theres also a low pressure cutoff switch on the low side that needs to be considered.
