I was looking into getting an aftermarket intake. I have seen a variarity of intakes, trickflow, holley, edlebrock, etc. Which one would you recomend? Do this really make much of a difference on engine performance?
All aftermarket intakes are good. It all depends on what you are wanting to do. After market intakes have a horse power range (ie 1500 - 6500, 3000-7750). You want a intake that will make power in the range of your cam. I am running the TFS-R which makes power from 2500 to 7250 and my cam signs off at 7000. I rarely take it up that high but when I do the intake wants more. Good thing I have a rev limiter. Hope this helps.
