Interesting, nice part. I haven't begun to work out the details for my engine bay and PCM system from an Explorer. I want to use an EGR from a matching Explorer, I have wondered what it would take to mount it to the Fox EGR spacer. If it would be easy, that's the part I would want, I have a 75mm TB already.
Has anyone compared any of the different EGR mounting bolt patterns? I have a spare EGR etc, off my old 91 302, at a friend's house. I can dig up my spare 97 302 EGR and see how they may match or how far off they are.
With the 65mm 96' explorer throttle body I have mounted on my 89 notch 308 with 1st gen eddy performer rpm intake same exact mounting bolt holes. As far as the EGR they appear to mount the same and same bolt pattern just clocked different on the electronic harness plug and vacuum nipple points to 8 o'clock position on explorer EGR instead of 2 o'clock position on 89-93 mustang.
That sounds great. I knew they were similar, I have some take off parts from an early 97 302, but never imagined then swapping any of that to a Fox TB etc. I should be able to use either EGR it looks like. I'm going to have to work out the TB cable and CC, using the Fox TB type, hopefully that will be as simple using the 1991 and 92 parts I have.
I'll pass on that spacer though, my SSI intake mounts the EGR onto the upper intake.
