So im finishing up my 98 Cobra 4v swap on my 99 GT and started it up and all checking fluids etc. Turned it off after about 2 mins if that and noticed some smoke from the alt. I touched it and it was hot as hell. Alt is brand new and no blown fuses. Did i need to grab a new connector for it or what? I did the middle wire delete on it.

Or a ****ty reman that doesn’t even have the bolt holes tapped to clear off all the overspray
Better when you get the reman caliper that they didn't tape over the port, so the crush washer is sealing against a sand-blasted surface, with some sand inside the caliper to self-hone the cylinder walls. Seriously, the level of quality in reman is absolute garbage now.
