I have located motor, wiring harness and computer from a 98 Cobra with 28k and a 99 Cobra with 20k. Both same price. Any advice on which to buy?

I'm installing the engine in my 98 Saleen former SOHC with an automatic.

Thanks

You're saying stock for stock the 98 heads flow better than the 99s? Care to explain.
Stock for stock, they (edit: 99 heads) do flow marginally better. But why start with something that wont provide more airflow in the future? If the motor is to remain stock, get the 99, if you ever plan on serious work, get the 98.

Take it easy!

The 98 heads have higher flow #s than the 99s, though the tumble ports have better velocity.

If you get an 99 you can slap on FMS heads w/ out the intake were as if you get the 98 you can't slap on FMS heads with out the intake or vise versa.

Something to consider. Most likely if you get FMS heads you'll get the intake anyways.
