I was having fuel problems and i thought it was my fuel pump so i replaced my pump with a walboro 255 intank pump and put on a new fuel filter. Now the pump primes fine but doesnt seem to run when car is started. The car will start off of the prime fuel but then quickly stalls out after. What part of my car tells the fuel pump that the car is running and that the pump needs to run? Please help.

So are you saying it could be a bad camshaft or crankshaft sensor?

Or the wiring, or the PCM itself

If you want to diagnose yourself, would be a good IDEA to get a decent SCAN tool than can stream data

you would be able to see if the PCM is seeing an rpm signal during crank

In a pinch........you can unplug then plug the crank sensor and give it a little tap with a metal screwdriver, it might wake up........

you dont buy any parts until you diagnose.
