Thought I would post my engine build (Fordstroker built)

So the hole for the air box wasn't as big as the hole in the box you can see in the pic I used a black marker to mark the area I needed to cut. So I cut it out. I think this should give 20% more air flow. Thought about cutting the box by the headlight but I don't think its needed.

Also No Pain No Gain.

Looking good man, I'd like to know more about the amp and head unit set up you have. Bluetooth with OE head unit would be great.

What speakers did you go with?
Looking good man, I'd like to know more about the amp and head unit set up you have. Bluetooth with OE head unit would be great.

What speakers did you go with?
On the speakers I just went to crutchfield and just put in my car and got the cheaper Memphises I could get. The are all 2 ways. If you want part # just let me know. But the will give you a few options.

https://www.crutchfield.com/S-sU1C1QX8Gpv/m_399/Car-Speakers.html

The head unit I haven't installed yet but I have installed one in my MG.

My plan is simple I'm just going to wire it up to the wires that go to the head unit. But the power and the remote wire I will also connect to the OE that will make it come on and show me the time but thats it. Thats all I want from the OE is the time and to look stock. The new head unit I will hide back in the dash it is very small. One thing to add is the 93 cobra came with a amp already installed under the passenger seat. I'm going to leave all that I'm just going to connect the speaker wires that go into the head unit to the new head unit.

Keep in mind only this one has bluetooth.

ST4.1000DB | Soundstream

When I connect it I will post some pics but like above. Connect the new one/hide. Connect power and remote wire on the OE(this is also connected to the new one) and install in OE spot.

So I have had my computer (Megasquirt) setting in the passenger-side floor and wanted to put it in the computer spot.

First off the computer holder has to come out. So I used the bottom part to hold the computer in place see pic I cut to make it like I wanted it.

My plan is to put some insulation on both sides of the computer to make it even more stable.

The vacuum is on bottom you can see in pic how I cut for it to work.

The top has both the big plug and the little plug that connects to the laptop. Thats why that part had to go.
I ran the 2 wires over the top of my AC/Dash lines so that it wouldn't be in any bind and should keep it from coming loose.

So both actuators were broke so I changed the easy fix.

Had a security system on the car but never worked so took it out. Will be going with a new one once car is back up and running.

Worked on installing the radio.

First my plan was to use the aftermarket plugs that were on the aftermarket radio that was in it to make a clean transformation. The plan also was to use the stock amp and all wires also.

It didn't work can't tell you why but it wouldn't run from my bluetooth radio and the stock amp. So I pulled the Stock amp out and rewired speaker wires.

First try. Top wire is power, remote and ground. Bottom is speaker wire connector.

Being it didn't work I pull amp out and all wiring. Speaker wire has a connector under the dash (see pic). I unplugged it and rewired.

Have pic of the new wire connector I made for speakers. Just looked at the wire colors at the speaker to match them up.

Also have a pic of how I wired the radio into the stock to make them both have power. (keep in mind the stock is just for clock and looks)

Are you going to address those saggy map pockets? It's wicked easy to tighten them up

Back in the day I used a softy clip, What is your way???? But yes its on the list.
You can pull the elastic tighter from the back side or replace it all together with newer tight elastic. Panels need to be off though

Here is a video https://lmr.com/products/Mustang-Door-Panel-Map-Pockets-Install-Video

The car is coming along nicely, any updates on the motors arrival date?
