Can I change a 1990 mustang master cylinder to just 2 ports by plugging one of the ports? Would it be the same as having a regular 2 port master cylinder if I used the ports on the side? I'm setting up my brakes on a '53 chevy truck, I got one rear line and the front lines go to a T and into one line, with residual valves on both and a proportioning valve on the rear. If it won't work with just two ports, I was thinking of getting the 84-90 Lincoln Mark 7 master cylinder. I have GM calipers from about 78-late 80s GM up front, and a 9 inch rear from a '65 thunderbird, I'm not sure the wheel cylinder size. If I use the Lincoln master cylinder, do you think I will have any problems with my brake sizes? Anyone have a NAPA partnumber for the Lincoln MC?
