aquiring parts to start building my 89 302 up
future plans for the car are to run an on3 76mm turbo kit, I have a set of TFS 192 highport heads, trick flow port matched upper and lower intake, 1.6 RR's however im stuck deciding between a cam, maximum valve lift on the heads are .600, does that include necessary piston to valve clearances? any suggestions on a cam? Been looking at the TFS stage 2 however looking for opinions / experiences.

1) Lift has nothing to do with piston to valve clearance.

2) Valve springs MUST be matched to the camshaft profile and application.

3) Camshaft parameters cannot be developed with a one paragraph description.

4) Don't fall for the turbo "F cam" bovine feces. There are "modern" concepts for camshaft development other than an obsolete FMS stick.
