Im looking for any info on what to do with the exhaust on my BB swap. I am wondering if it's possible to use an after market h-pipe and cat backs by maybe conecting the h with a longer piece. I havent started the swap yet but will be in a few weeks and want to try and get all my stuff together ahead of time.

On my 557 I had a Mac kit on it from Kooks headers to polished tips all in 3".

It now has collector muffs and though louder I like them better anyways.

So how did you connect the MAC stuff to the headers? Did you have to modify the h-pipe or the rest of the exhaust or did it bolt right up to the headers?

Yes the Hpipe was modded in that the ball socket end was cut off and "swelled" at a muff shop for a slip on fit to the headers. Surprisingly it didnt leak at this junction?? Rest of system bolted right on in factory location using factory hangers.

You can specify the Kooks headers made with ball/socket type collectors that wouldnt need any modifications but mine were slip fit.
