What would all have to be done to the engine to get it into the 10's? How much money am I looking at spending? I'm getting a 429 with a c6 tranny. I'm looking for some advice in what to do. I will build the engine up and then I will buy a body to put it in. I'm hoping I can find a roller that has some suspension work done to it already. Should I just buy a 429 rebuild kit or should I just buy everything individually? Any and All help will be very appreciated.

As light of a car as you can with 600 HP (at the wheels) would do it. The more you weight the more HP you will need.

One of the easy ways is with nitrous. If its a track only car then all motor with 13:1 (or so) CR and a huge cam on race gas will do the trick. Good heads are a must. You may want to check woods for a short block/long block or the whole motor.
