NO!

Just go to a 363. More cubes for the $$
YES, factors though, your cam? Overlap, aka dynamic and static compression, i built an engine one time huge valves orting to beat the band,10-3/4:1 compression when checked with a compression gauge all cylinders were 121 to 123 psi, cam overlap comes into play, 10:1 engines can and do run on 93 octane everyday, just have to know what your building.

11.5:1 engines run on 93. You just have to know what you're doing.

A 10:1 with aluminum heads is about the equivalent of a 9:1 iron head motor ... relative to cylinder pressure. No great trick to run it on 93 ... or 91.

For that matter the Coyote motor in my F-150 was 11.0:1. It ran fine on 91. It even ran fine on 87.
