Ok, I'm buying a set of real Cobra R's tomorrow with a set of BFG Comp TA 275/40/17's all the way around. I have never seen anyone run these in the front of a fox, let alone a lowered one such as mine.

Has anyone attempted this? I can always trade my buddy for his 255/40/17's (I don't really like the way 245/45/17's look on a 9" rim), but they aren't the same caliber tire as the BFG's....

I would like to run the same size tires all the way around, but if I have to run 245/45/17's up front and 275/40/17's in back, I'll live I suppose. :)

My car is a 92 GT 'Vert lowered with Eibach Pro-Kit springs (for a coupe). It's fairly slammed - my 255/50/16 BFG DR's rub a tad, so I will be rolling the fender lips before the Cobra R's go on.

I hate to lose the sleeper look that the Ponies provided, but the time has come for increased braking power via a 13" front Cobra set-up....

My buddy ran 275/40-17's, and I run 265/40-17's on front. In order to do this you need to trim the front edge fo the fender, and jack it out about 2" by making a bar to space it away from the frame.
