Well, I took my car to the track.
Here are my best results:

Weather was 8C and 35%Humidity with a 14km/h headwind
Elevation: 750ft (approximate) above sea lvl.

Reaction Time: .602
60 ft: 2.189
1/8th: 9.149 78.051mph
1/4: 14.164 97.380mph

Highest Trap Speed was : 97.580 mph

Any tips?
I was hoping to touch 13s but the track was closing...
I'm hoping with DRs I'll touch 13s.

Thanks for any pointers

I went last night to NED and got in about 8 runs. I ran 3 passes at 14.2 @ 97, 2.2 60ft all night. I launched at idle, 1500, 2000, 2500, and 3000 rpm's on the stock tires at 20psi. I just couldnt get it to stick, 2nd and 3rd spun bad as well. I have a good base line now so let the mods begin.:joy:

I will take any pointers as well.

With a 2.0X (easily possible with street tires and decent track) you're all but gauranteed a 13.X timeslip. You should practice with the car a little bit more, and then mod!

What altitude are you at - I wish I had your problems! I've got a 2001 Cobra, and in Denver at 5500 feet I can't spin the wheels in any gear under any circumstances (except for dropping the clutch in 1st gear of course).

I took my '95 GT to Iowa once, and I was shocked at how much faster it was down there. Being at 5500-6,000 feet just saps the power like crazy

The track is New England Dragway in New Hampshire. It is way up there at 60 feet above sea level.

Talking to some local racers, They're convinced my car is capable of 13s. My 60ft sucks. I'm considering running the car once more next test and tune, and seeing if I can touch 13s bonestock... (K&N filter)

Should I idle off the line?
Slip the clutch?
