I bought a 2001 mustang and except for an exhaust leak it was running okay. I added new led lights to the exterior. Killed the battery by mistake but i bout a new one and now pats system light is always on, it will not crank but the car does turn on. Does anyone know what it might be?

only the lights come on when i try to start it.

i turn the key to on the lights and every thing comes on, i try to start it and it doesnt make a clicking noise or anything.

have you checked for power to starter solenoid?

What's that, an alarm system? If so, that's preventing the engine from cranking. Re-check the install, un-do what you did before you somehow killed the battery.
