Hello all.

I'm sorry if I placed this in the wrong section. A friend of mine has a '95 Mustang GT convertible (auto). He wants to swap a T-5 into his ride. He has secured a transmission already, however we are having problems finding the pedal assembly.

He went to a junk yard and found a 1997 V6 with a manual transmission. The junk yard wants $75 for the pedal assembly. He's really thinking about getting them, however, we wanted to double check to make sure that swapping in these V6 pedals would work for the V8, ya know. Just a double check.

thanks for any help.

It will work, however the cruise controll cancells (cancels when you press the brake) on the pedals are different on 94/95 and 96 up. 95/ 95 used some kind of vacum switch, and the 96 up used some electronic switch. Sorry, but I'm not sure if you can transfer the switch over from the auto. I imagine without it, the rest of cruise controll would still work fine, but you migt have to plug the vacum hose.
