Did a vin check in texas and it has never been registered in texas. Sorry I can't be of more help.

talk with your insurance agent otherwise a cop should be able to find it given that you have the vin

Haha yea it didn’t sell for anywhere near that. But I’d be willing to pay depending on condition. Hopefully I can find the owner and at least find out about it.

called down to lee county. They won’t release any information on current owner. But I appreciate the help guys. I’ll keep searching. Anyone know anyone in Florida area maybe we can do it the old fashioned way and spot it out and about.

Call your insurance agent and ask them. They can look up the VIN. Just say that you want to find your old car to try and purchase it back. They may or may not do it.

That car was posted for sale on Facebook market place in the Tampa/Bradenton area roughly a year ago. It was being sold as a roller and it was still two tone blue with those Forgeline wheels.
I know it's not much help but I figured I'd let you know the car still looked the same as of last year and the drivetrain may be completely different now.

Thanks for the info man. That’s a sad deal if that’s the case. Someone got a good drivetrain deal on a power train. Prolly robbed some other good stuff also. But the hunt continues.
