Was wondering how robust the computer in these cars (90 GT 5.0) is? I ask because I am using a wrecked 90 mustang for its motor/efi and tranny in my 65 mustang. Of course, the car took the hit right in the pass side a-pillar (where the computer is located). After some finagling, I was able to get the motor started, but just let it idle for now. Is there a way to test the computer? If it starts and idles, can I assume the computer is still good?

To answer , if it starts and idles , it is good .
If the case looks good as in not bent in a horseshoe , it is most likely fine .
