Good luck with the build... this is why I preach to buy a "done" proven car with paperwork.

I've seen a few bulletproof streetable 4sec cars that you can eat off for 40k.

The scary part is that it had over $15k in receipts from a shop that put it together. Not sure what happened with some of the mod choices tho. 347 with a 3550 trans and spec stage 3 clutch. Everything else was bone stock. Best guess is the guy beat the snot out of it.

She’ll be fabulous when done. Can’t wait to see the results on the thru floor connectors. :)

Cage Rage is all done and the car is home. The next step is getting a rotisserie here and blasting the whole car. Found some rust issues that need to be addressed.

It has turned out to be a sweet looking pile of parts for sure.
This beast of an engine has finally made it home!! Going to be a while for any other updates as the chassis is going back for a ton of fab work early next year.

the cool thing about that intake is that you could probably fab up a nasty ram air setup by tilting the radiator forward

years back i had a G8 Gt for my daily driver and ran an Australian OTR (over the radiator intake) although others make similar versions too
