A very nice mini restoration of a 1989 LX 5.0 manual transmission hatch.
Runs awesome, sounds good, and is very solid.

The good:

This has too many new parts to list, a few highlights of the near 4K that has been invested ( have receipts for proof).

Interior is very nice and stock, aftermarket shifter and new gauge cluster, every gauge works. Brand new window motors, door locks, dew wipe, exterior window door covers, mirror covers, and BrandNew center console with drink holders and USB. Door pins, hinge, and door cards hardware is brand new. much more has been replaced.

Exterior- Very good, One rust spot on top of decklid, straight body, no accidents and shock towers and hatch in great shape. Car had its underbody rust proofed at some point. All Trim outside on doors and rear was replaced with brand new. all trim, mirrors, wipers, etc, painted with the real trim paint that ford used, not a knock off. New window cowl and trim, brand new headlights and much more.

Engine replaced with 85,000 mile original 5.0, new cam, all brand new water pump, thermostat, fan, plugs, wires, cap, starter, mounts and many more.

Exhaust - Brand New shorty headers, flow tubes, Jones two chamber mufflers and 2 1/2 stainless full tailpipes. H-pipe is the same that was on the car when I bought it, it appears to be a mac..

Suspension- All Brand new Shocks, struts, Eibach Pro springs, control arms, subframes and much more.

Brakes- All Brand new pads, calipers slotted rotors, rear drums, hardware, rear lines, and full E- brake components replaced, etc...

Transmission-Brand new Stage two king cobra Clutch, flywheel, bearings, aluminum driveshaft, 3.73 gears and fresh posi and much more.

Fuel- New pump, new sending unit, and wiring harness's/ lines. Fuel gauge is accurate.

Wheels are real ford original ponies in ok shape, tires could be replaced with more HP suitable for more high performance driving. I was going to replace but Wheels and tires are subjective and i was going to get centerlines, but then someone will want something else.

The somewhat bad- The paint is not perfect, it's still glossy, looks nice after hours or buffing and paint correcting. No Clearcoat Peel at all.. it could use a new paint to set it off, but for now it does look decent. if I painted it someone would want a different color and is too personal, get a Maaco paint job the color YOU want.



I tackled all the real tough jobs.

Price is subjective to everyone, this is not your 5-8 K lx typically LX seen on marketplace, those require the work that I was willing to do.

I have it set at 10,000, I have title, and is ready to go. I'm serious to sell and it is best offer. it sells great it does not it's ok. Spring will be here before we know it, but less decent 5.0's won't...
