On the inside of my doors mounted in the body low below the door striker is a spring that sticks out when the doors are open. It used to have a plastic cover on it but they broke apart due to age. Anyone know what they are and where some can be found to replace them? Thanks

Another foxbody at the parts yard would be a good place to find them. Same plastic door jamb spring covers up to 89' but need to remove interior quarter panels and the seat belt retractor and shoulder straps to get them off. I think a rivet holds them to the retractor assembly along with the blue cable. Can take a pic in the morning for you of the seat belt I have for sale to give you an idea what to look for.

Pic of the door jamb spring with plastic cap. They don't have anything to do with the operation of the seat belt. They are just a door opening assist spring. They are only mounted to the seat belt mechanism. They don't connect to anything mechanical on the seat belt retractor.
