Ever wanted to be the proud owner of a piece of Americana? Here's your chance!

This is the iconic American muscle car - a '65 Mustang GT convertible in Poppy Red. Introduced in April 1965, the Mustang GT was only made for 4 months before the model year changed. VERY limited production, and very few survivors 50 years later. Equipped like this one (a convertible with 4-speed manual transmission), there are probably fewer than 100 survivors out there, and they seldom hit the market. Guaranteed to turn heads and draw ooohs and aaaahhhhs wherever you go.

Here's what you get:

ORIGINAL factory-built GT (NOT a GT "clone")
ORIGINAL 289 cubic inch A-code V8, 225 horsepower (rebuilt in 2012)
ORIGINAL 4-speed T10 manual transmission
ORIGINAL Autolite 4100 4-barrel carburetor
ORIGINAL mileage of 127,000
ORIGINAL Rally Pac gauges (tachometer and clock)
ORIGINAL Ford pushbutton AM radio
ORIGINAL fog lights
Fully functional instrument panel (including ORIGINAL clock)
Chrome-tipped dual exhaust
3.89 Traction-Lock rear end
Styled steel wheels
Black interior and black convertible top
Front disk brakes
"Correct" 6.95x14 white-walled 4-ply nylon tires

This is a pristine, true-to-origin specimen of a hard-to-find American classic. The ONLY "modernizations":

* Electronic ignition (Pertronix coil and distributor module)
* GPS anti-theft system
* Center console storage

Conservatively appraised at $50k, this beauty is a steal at $39.9k. Don't let it get away!
