I'm looking to change my water pump to a "standard" clockwise direction pump (this will be for my 408w). I'm running across some conflicting information. Some people are saying just swap the WP with a standard direction pump and its done, others are saying it doesn't work with the timing cover...

So I just finished changing the water pump and timing cover on my 94 GT, and over the course of the job I collected a lot of info that I don't want wasted, especially for us 94-95 guys. Hopefully, someone googles this thread one day and finds it useful. I know there are a ton of threads out...

I need the timing pointer off a 60/70 timing cover..it bolts on through the two holes on the drivers side. Mine ended up walking off somewhere. I have the timing cover..just need the pointer. If you have an aftermarket...I might be interested too. Thanks Corral!

i have a 03 cobra shortblock that was run low on oil. fried the 1&5 rod bearings and 4&8 rod bearings.had piston to head and piston to valve strikes. #4 cyl has some slight cyl wall damage from a small chunk of the head clunking around in there b4 she locked up. all other cylinders look good...
