Well I'm installing my third set of gears but I've always had access to a pinion depth gauge tool, now I do not. Is there a ghetto way to find the correct pinion depth shim without pressing on and off the bearing trying different shims til I find the right one? I'm going from 3.55's to 4.30's.
bought these used, but never used them due to changed plans for the car, was originally going all motor and nitrous car, but now going turbo
so i cant use them
