History
This car was originally a 88 hp 1989 lx 2.3 with a auto trans. I converted it to a 320 hp SVO with a t-5 and 8.8 rear diff.
I ran a 13.20 after dyno testing at only 255/314 last summer but now I am sure it is much faster than that. I will be heading up to the track around August.

Modifications
Drivetrain
A 1987 Ford Racing 2.3T engine from a Thunderbird that inhales plenty of air with a turbo from a 2001 Dodge cummins 5.9. A 31x12x3" intercooler and water methanol injection really cools off 28 psi of boost. A 65mm throttlebody and 55# injectors helps feed the beast. It is all controlled by a Megasquirt extra2 ecu and is tuned live with a laptop.
Interior
It has power windows and door locks. New black carpet but it lack a radio or a/c. I alyays drive it with the windows down anyway.
Exterior
I sanded it down and spray canned it flat black because it's cheap and gives it a stealthy look.
Audio
Since I don't have a radio I guess I'll make this section on tuning. The only gadgets that have a display are the laptop I use to tune with and the Wal-mart digital clock.
Suspension
Stock up front without a sway bar.
Rear has 87' 5.0 springs, MM control arms, 87' rear sway bar, strange adjustable shocks and a 87' 8.8 with 3.55 gears.

Wheel and Tire
I had to get rid of the stock 14" ugly wheels and replaced them with 16x8 ROH wheels and wrapped them in Nitto 555r drag radials.
