Mustang 5.0 LX Sport

Purchased in Pitt Meadows, BC in 2002. High mileage, but very good condition, well cared for and no rust. Drove down to Tucson, AZ that winter and did a complete electronic and drivetrain replacement using a '93 5.0 engine rebuilt a few years earlier with forged internals and Edelbrock Performer 5.0 heads along with a Tremec 3550 trans.

Member Indy2000 nicknamed this car the "Ghetto" because my wiring abilities have previously been extremely substandard, especially compared to his!

Run in this configuration for about 20,000 miles until started playing with a Kenne Bell Blowzilla 2.2L supercharger. Blowing head gaskets with bad tunes and too high compression, finally resorted to building an all new engine using a Dart Iron Eagle block after I gained confidence in tuning properly.

Moved back to Tucson, AZ from Vancouver, BC in 2010 and dropped something in the intake accidentally after replacing leaking intake gaskets. Fried #8 piston ring land and also discovered some kind of manufacturer defect in the Harland Sharp rocker arms.

Larry's Engine & Marine rebuilt the engine this time (instead of yours truly), as I did not want any leaks or problems of any kind. Larry's ported the Edelbrock Victor Jr heads as well. Comp steel roller rockers were used this time, as well as Gaterman link-bar lifters. The original SRP pistons were no longer available in 0.020" over, so a new set at 0.030" over and fully machine work was required. The supercharger was fitted with dual water/meth injection nozzles in the inlet. The ignition was upgraded to EDIS8 at this time as well. This iteration also involved the fabrication of 6061 alum brackets to adapt a Sanden R134a compressor to the Kenne Bell snout bracket.

Dart Iron Eagle engine block, bored 0.030" over, 306 cid.
SRP forged pistons @ 8.5:1, Crower billet steel rods, Cola forged crank.
Crane 2031 hydroller cam, Crane billet timing chain, Comp Cams steel roller rockers, ported Edelbrock Victor Jr. heads w/2.08/1.60 valves.
TMoss ported GT-40 lower intake, AFM 90mm Powerpipe w/cold air induction, Accufab 90mm throttle body, Flowzilla 90mm inlet to Kenne Bell 2.2L Blowzilla twin screw supercharger, 1/2" phenolic spacer, AEM dual nozzle water/meth injection.
EDIS8 with Accel coil packs. Custom made 36-1 trigger wheel, VR sensor bracket, and A/C mounting brackets. Sanden compressor retrofit and upgrade to R134a.
Ford Racing 2-row aluminum rad, Edelbrock water pump, 180 Tstat, dual Contour fans, computer controlled via EEC-IV.
Custom tuned using Decipha's A9L2 base tune as basis.
'93 GT seats w/lumbar adjustment.
Too many gauges.
A dashmat.
Lowest rise functional cowl induction hood.
17x9 Enkei Kojin wheels.
DDM Tuning 6000K HIDs in stock style (new) housings.
PIAA driving/fog halogen lamps.
Rockford Fosgate 450.4 main amp.
Rockford Fosgate 1000bd sub amp.
