My father bought it bone stock and it ended up being my first car when I was 15. Started off with the 155hp standard output 5.0, AOD, and 2.73 gears.
1988 Ford Thunderbird Sport (White)
306 built from the bottom-up. Forged pistons, 9.5:1 compression, ARP rod bolts, cast steel Eagle crankshaft, GT40Y aluminum heads, ARP head bolts, 1.7 roller rockers, GT40 intake, stock H.O. camshaft, trickflow stock length pushrods. Swapped out the AOD for an '89 model T5, and exchanged the 2.73 gears for a set of 3.27s. Other mods include a 130amp alternator, electric fan w/dual speed controller and underdrive pulleys
Only mods have been a tripminder and a pair of Autometer gauges. Everything else is OEM.
Nothin much here
CD Player and small amp...99% of my In-car entertainment comes from the exhaust note.
Bone stock for now, aside from some '02 Mustang front springs that were used to drop the nose down after the T5 swap.
